Luz is the best tour guide hands down!! She’s knowledgeable, patient, kind, friendly and fun! We hired her services for two days – two very different tours that she created for us, (a family of 7), based on what we wanted to see, our time and budget. The first day we traveled to the northwest part of the island where we visited caves, (our favorite was Cueva Ventana… a must see!), a waterfall in Arecibo, and the beautiful beaches of Isabella. The second day she showed us more of a local flair as we toured the east side of the island – local food at Piñones, and many beautiful beaches along the coast of Loiza, Fajardo and Luquillos. Our days were so rich and fun that even our teenagers more than enjoyed themselves. She gave us a new perspective of the riches and beauty of Puerto Rico! We can’t wait to come back, and we have already put together a list of our must see’s for our next visit and more adventures with Luz! Don’t hesitate to hire her! You won’t regret it!

This was my first time in Puerto Rico and on our last day which was also my birthday. My fiancé booked the tour for us to burn time waiting for our flight. Honestly, I thought we we’re just gonna be riding around listening to the driver. I was wrong, Luz was absolutely amazing. Her passion made it perfect as she drew us into the tour. She understood the importance of capturing great memories by offering to take our pictures. Hundreds of photos around the island, walks on the beach, riverside views, great food, we learnt history and about the culture, all customized experiences to fit our needs, laughter and so much more. It was a great experience. She did a great job and I doubt it could’ve been better without her.

Thanks to Luz our tour guide is the best.  If aren’t booking with her you are missing out.  We miss her already and can’t wait to come back.

Luz is very professional with a great knowledge of the work she performs. She is also client oriented, fluent in English as a second language making the travel experience an excellent one. I fully recommend her service.

We initially booked a rental car through Avis to go El Yunque, however they ran out cars and never contacted us for the hotel delivery. So we contact the service the morning of, and Luz offer the same day service. Which made the trip to El Yunque much better than we planned. She’s really friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Highly recommend

Our tour with Viator was cancelled at the last minute. I tried to find several options. I was very grateful to find Jess and Lux at San Juan Taxi and Tours. Luz gave us a great tour. She was well informed, spoke great English, was friendly and answered questions very well. We had a wonderful 2 1/2 hour taxi tour of Old San Juan and surrounding areas.
